- To gain access to the range you must be a current member. Absolute NO GUEST ALLOWED. You are issues 2 cards. The "Green" Photo ID will not gain you access to the range it is the ID that is to be worn that shows who you are and your expiration date. The "White" Proximity card is the card that gains you access to the range by swiping it at the electronic locking gate. If you show up with multiple members everyone must swipe their card the first time they come in that day. This allows us to verify you are a current member. As stated above there are No Guest Allowed this is because of insurance reasons. If you are caught allowing a non-member past the electronic locking gate you will have you membership suspended. The suspension will only be removed once you have paid $50 for allowing a non-member in and $50 for each non-member you let in. Also because of insurance reasons there are no day passes. Please help us keep the range clean. If you bring something to the range it is your responsibility to take it home with you. Range Rules:
- Anyone Caught Breaking Any Of These Rules Will Be Banned From The Range And Held Responsible For Repair If Applicable.
- ONLY Paying Members Allowed On The Club Property - NO GUEST
- The Range Is Open Daily - No Shooting Before Sunrise Or After Sunset Except For Functions That Are Approved By The Club.
- Scheduled Activities (Rifle, Handgun, Archery, Or Other) Take Precedence Over Informal Shooting.
- Informal Shooting Will Be Conducted On Paper Or Cardboard Targets ONLY Exceptions Are The Range Gong. NO Shooting Under Any Circumstances At Glass, Rocks, Cans, Sheetrock, Wall Board, Or Other Refuse.
- The Range Gong Target Will NEVER Be Fired At From A Distance Of Less Than 100 Yards And NEVER With Armor Piercing Ammunition.
- Children Up To 17 Will Be Allowed On The Range And Firing Line ONLY While Under The Direct, Immediate Supervision Of A Paid Adult Member. Members Are Responsible For The Conduct Of Any Children They Bring To The Range Facility.
- Place Targets In The Center Of The Backers, Do NOT Shoot The Target Frames. Persons Found Deliberately Shooting Target Frames Will Be Removed From The Range.
- It Is Acceptable To Bring Your Own Target Backers. Please Remove All Targets And Personally Owned Backers. When You Leave The Range Take All Of Your Trash With You.
- Round Brass On The Flat Concrete Surface Causes A Hazard. Please Collect Your Brass And Place It In The Proper Receptacles Before Leaving The Range.
- Wear Your Range ID Or Have It In Plain View While On Range Property.
- People Found Deliberately Shooting Any Of The Range Facilities' Buildings, Or Any Of Its' Property Not Intended To Be Shot Will Be Forever Banned From Using The Range Facilities And Subject To Criminal Prosecution.
- Do Not Shoot The Steel Upright
- Shotguns Are Only Allowed On Your Own Target Hung From The
Top-Back Of The Shotgun Upright, Or On Your Own Personally Target and Uprights, Or To Shoot Skeet. Shotgun Are Not To Be Used On Any Of The Clubs Backers Or Targets.
- Anyone Caught Breaking These Rules Will Be Banned From The Range And Held Responsible For Repair If Applicable.
Range Safety Regulations:
- All Firearms Are Considered To Be ALWAYS Loaded, ALL The Time, And Handled Accordingly.
- Muzzle Control - ALWAYS Point Weapons In A Safe Direction.
- Finger OFF The Trigger Until You Are Ready To Shoot.
- Firearms Will ONLY Be Loaded On The Firing Line.
- All Persons On The Firing Line Will Wear Eye And Ear Protection While Firearms Are Being Discharged.
- NEVER Proceed Down Range Until A "CEASE FIRE" Has Been Called And All Weapons On The Firing Line Have Been Made Safe And Clear.
- Firearms Will Not Be Handled While Anyone Is Down Range.
- Any Person Who Observes An Unsafe Act Or Condition Will IMMEDIATELY Call Cease Fire" Until The Unsafe Act Or Condition Is Corrected.
- Unsafe Actions Or Equipment Are Grounds For Immediate Removal From The Range By A Range Officers.
- Person(s) Under The Influence, Intoxicated, Or Otherwise Affected By Alcoholic Beverages, Illegal Narcotics, Or Other Drugs, Will Not Possess, Handle, Touch Or Manipulate Any Weapons On The Property Of Siberian Rod & Gun Club.
